What it does

Overview

Design critique that a machine can read

Drop in a screenshot. Drag guides off the rulers, drop numbered notes, and measure distances that snap to real edges in the image.

Then export a critique bundle: a zip holding the annotated PNG, a markdown writeup, and a JSON file. Hand that folder to a coding agent and it knows which note maps to which pixel, and where in your project the fix belongs.

Redline measuring pixel gaps that snap to detected edges in the screenshot
Drag between two points and the endpoints snap to real edges in the image. Here it catches a 20px, 40px, and 22px gap, so "the spacing is off" becomes an exact number.
The critique panel with a note tagged to a source file and component
Every note can carry a code location. Tag it with the file and component (here, StatCard.tsx) and the export tells a coding agent exactly where the fix belongs.

Requirements

Nothing to install

Redline runs entirely in your browser. No model, no server, no account, no upload. Your screenshots never leave the tab.
